HELLO! Yay singapore! im seriously glad to be back in singapore. i miss the food in singapore like crazy! i think my english is getting more and more screwed each day.

Australia was fantastic! boy oh boy, i am so revvvvved up to type every single detail down! im so scared i will forget everything that happened in auzzie, i must pen everything down NOW! thank god for blogs - when i grow old and wrinkly, i can simply go to my blog to re-live my memories. i am so freaking hyped up.

okay 60-year-old koh zhao ming, are you reading this? if you are, remember that you typed this when you were 16, yr 2008.

alright so flight was on 26th november, bad day omgz. i dont know what kind of germs got into my body but by 12noon, i was puking my guts out. sian man, anything that goes in just comes out. plus, my stomach was hurting like mad. then, 9pm came (flight's at 12.30am) and i still felt weak + in pain. but, YAY for peppermint oil! stomach stopped hurting, and i stopped puking! anyhoos, got on the plane to auzzzzzzie!

i love SIA. once again, singapore rocks socks. watched WALL-E. Lolz. they have it 3D in australia. the only words i heard from the robot were: "YEEVEE" and "WALLLL YEE" haha okay show quite nice. then watched Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging. i think that's the title of the movie. aiya whatev. show is kinda okay/boring/funny/disgusting. then i learnt japanese! HAHAHAHAHA. omg damn funny. okay then then, I PLAYED POKEMON! yay! its so fun!

reached sydney at around 11.30am sydney time. domestic flight to Broken Hill was at 6pm.

boarded tiny plane at 6.30pm en route to Broken Hill. DO YOU KNOW WHERE IS BROKEN HILL? Haha, gosh, does Broken Hill even exist in Australia? HAHA. It does exist! Well apparently in broken hill, a hill really broke. Broken Hill is also known as the Silver City coz it is a mining hot spot for iron, silver, zinc and lead. Okay my aunt and uncle lives there, so we went there to visit them. back to the flight. haha, oh man, it was like a rollercoaster in the air. 2.5 hours later, we touched down in Broken Hill! WOW, CHECK OUT THE WIND. so cooling, i like! Australia became what she is today coz of Broken Hill okay. It was all the mining in Broken Hill that brought wealth to Australia, therefore allowing her to become one of the most developed countries in the world.

Official Day 1 in broken hill was spent touring broken hill. broken hill = country side. its a semi desert too. the highest building there is made up of 2 storeys. everyone is either middle aged or a senior citizen. i didnt see ANY young people there zomg. they have only ONE shopping centre whereby 7/8 of it = 2 super markets and the remaining 1/8 of it are actual shops. bought clothes wheeeee! god, i can't describe how Broken Hill looks like. Hmn okay, picture cowboys, 1950s. that's broken hill for you! so as you can see, there's nothing much in broken hill. basically, its a great place for retired old people. but the library there is fairly well-stocked. new books or books that you cannot find in singapore are all there! so, i borrowed 10 books to read.

Day 2 was the starting of Road Trip, Australia. Drove up to Mildura, a more modern town with more shopping places. Lots of people from broken hill drive to mildura for weekend getaways.

Day3. Went to Swan Hill. There was this Japanese restaurant that won a crazy amt of awards. Wanted to have dinner there but it was fully booked till 9.30pm.

Day 4, we drove and drove and reached Echuca. Had pancakes at this diner for breakfast! YUMMY YUMMY! Their serving is humongoid. Well, as Echuca is even more backdated than Broken Hill, it doesn't have shopping centres. But the town is considered as a tourist attraction coz of its cobblestone pavement, and old 1800s stuff. Rode in a horse carriage! Anw, drove and drove and we went to Wangaratta!

Day 5, we woke up bright and early for our long ride up to Le Magnifique Alpines! The view is soooo beautiful/breathtaking! We saw melting snow on our way up the mountains too! It was 11 degrees up at the top but the wind made it feel like it was -2 degrees. my fingers went numb. Ate giant scones and potato wedges. Deeelicious! Okay, then we made out way down and off we went to Shepparton. Stayed in a motel that can easily pass off as a 3-star hotel. Everything in the countryside is cheaper and better. Less for more!

Day 6, set off from Shepparton back to Swan Hill coz we die die wanted to try the food at the jap restaurant but the restaurant was closed. We saw wild baby kangaroos, cows, sheeps, horses, emus, eagles and families of goats on our way back. Haha the animals are so cute! Especially the goats. The entire family (lots of tiny kids) will cross the road to eat the grass on the other side coz the grass is always greener on the other side. There are SO MANY OF THEM. We have to keep slowing down and stopping to let them cross over to the Other Greener Side. Cows stand in the middle of the road and stare at you. Stare and stare and stare. They are so huge, it kinda freaks you out. You must sound the horn a few times before they reluctantly clomp off to the side to let you pass. Omg wth haha. Emus are kinda cute too. They will observe you for a while, analysing you, then they will sprint off. Lol. They are humongous too. sheeps are boring coz they just keep eating grass. Oo kangaroos! They are SO CUTE. At first, they will run away, then, they will hop closer and stand still and pose - for you to take pictures of them. Saw the most beautiful sunset from the car.

Day 7, bought ZL thongs from local thong shop. The shopping centre closes at 5pm. canyoubelieveit? Had the smoothest latte at local cafe. SO NICE I TELL YOU. SINGAPORE CAFES NO FIGHT. went to Silverton.

Day 8, i spent my entire morning in the library. i told ya i love the library there. had lunch on top of the town @ the Broken Earth. Love the food there. So freaking oiishi! Okay then off to the train station. Got on board the Indian Pacific, the train that runs from Perth to Sydney. 6.30pm.

saw sunset + sunrise from the train. the sunrise is so pretty. passed by the blue mountains which are blue. 16.5 hours later, we reached sydney!

the weather in sydney is quite cooling too. went to the darling harbour, sydney harbour, queen victoria building, opera house, star casino, the rocks, china town, etc. sydney = fun! i can still rmb: george st, pitt st, goulburn st, liverpool st, thomas st, hay st, etc.

bought 9 pairs of thongs [flipflops] which made the luggage much heavier.

i think those people living in australia are v friendly. they will always smile and say. "hey how's it going?" my aunt and uncle can just strike up a conversation with a total stranger - very easily.

Twilight's in cinema over there on 11 dec.

this is a bloody long post.
